Calcaneus fractures are serious injuries that can dramatically impact a person’s life.  Appropriate care may consist of operative treatment.  Over the past two decades Dr. Steinlauf has developed significant experience in dealing with these injuries.  He has extensive experience with minimally invasive and arthroscopically assisted surgery.  In addition, Dr. Steinlauf has designed specialized implants for the stabilization of these complex fractures.  Dr. Steinlauf is currently designing the next generation of minimally invasive implants.
